An accomplished pianist with over 15 years private teaching and accompanying experience Catherine teaches from her studio in Tadcaster, Yorkshire. piano beginners - advanced bassoon beginners - advanced music theory, composing & arranging (including preparation for the ABRSM Grade 5 theory exam) aural skills & vocal coaching (often in preparation for exams and auditions) GCSE & A Level booster lessons are also available focussing on any aspect of the course including composition and music history. Catherine offers both private & open masterclasses for experienced players wishing to develop their technical control of the instrument and interpretive skills. Catherine also welcomes invitations from groups looking for help in developing their ensemble skills either for their own enjoyment or in preparation for performance, including preparation for auditions assessed recitals. Catherine also gives individually tailored CPD sessions for private teachers, classroom music teachers and freelance music practitioners wishing to develop specific aspects of their playing, musical & delivery skills.
